Intelligent Medical Assistance Technology Based on Medical Imaging

The research institute will develop an AI imaging screening system platform that employs big data and artificial intelligence technologies to build AI-assisted diagnostic and therapeutic applications. This system will model and analyze medical imaging screening for diseases and genetic diagnosis to predict disease risks. It will analyze conditions and lesions to provide decision support for doctors, aiming to improve medical efficiency and quality. AI medical imaging can be used in medical service institutions such as the health examination centers of the Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission's 12361 National Health Big Data Platform Center, primary healthcare institutions, and third-party medical imaging centers for medical image diagnostics, automatic pathological diagnostics, and intelligent radiotherapy system platforms. This will help establish a tiered diagnostic and treatment pattern, with primary screening at the grassroots level and advanced diagnostics at higher levels, providing patients with consistent, high-level comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services, and achieving an orderly and effective allocation of quality medical resources to community healthcare hospitals. 


By integrating electronic medical records, medical imaging, and multi-omics data, the institute will conduct research on pathological analysis, auxiliary disease diagnosis, and health management technologies. This includes in-depth pathological analysis of common diseases affecting the population, rapid disease diagnosis based on machine learning technology, early disease identification, intelligent treatment plan recommendations, and health management strategies for common chronic diseases. It will also involve key technologies and foundational theories aimed at reducing the workload of doctors in outpatient settings, enhancing doctor-patient relationships, lowering various costs for both parties, and improving the overall level of medical services. Additionally, the institute will propose new intelligent diagnostic and treatment models that meet the actual needs of hospital outpatient services and establish data-based standardized diagnosis, treatment, and health management systems for several major diseases prevalent in China.
